STEAL OUR RECORD!
Here is our first CD "Unsolicited Material". The only change to the original CD is a remixed version of the bonus track, "I Wanna Play". The reason we decided to give away the record is simple - we ran out of discs. Why does much of the CD suck sonically? Here's the story; We won a battle of the bands contest & the prize was the manufacture of 2000 CDs. We had no good recordings, only demos, but we didn't want to give up the prize, so we put the demos on 2000 discs and called it "Unsolicited Material". To our surprise, people liked the CD, notwithstanding the crappy production quality, and we sold (and gave away) all the CDs.
It's been 5 years since that CD was released, and we're still working on the second CD. Not because we're putting lot's of care and detail into it, but rather because we're lazy. However, the production quality of the upcoming CD will be much better than the first. Today is July 10, 2007 and Me (Pete) and Christ are working out an arrangement for a new track. We have most of the new songs arranged and we expect DJO II to be out by September. Many thanks to everyone who contacted us through MySpace, YouTube and by email - sorry to those who we have not responded to - we are just too damn disorganized. To fix this, we are setting up a new email account for DJO music - details coming soon to this page. In the mean time, please leave us a message on the guestbook page.
